Mary Elizabeth Correll

Mary Elizabeth Correll, 72, Peru, Indiana, passed away at 2:27 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 29, 2024, at Stillwater Hospice, Ft. Wayne. 

Born on April 12, 1952 in Winchester, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Rodney Rose and Rachel P. (Hanks) Wilburn. On November 2, 1968, in Peru, Indiana, she was married to Terry Lee Correll, and he preceded her in death on October 24, 1998. 

Survivors include her son, Terry Lee (Maria) Corell, Jr., Denver; two grandsons, Terry Bailey (Rachel) Correll and Brody Lee (Tanner) Correll; three great-grandchildren, Carter, Eileen and Cecilia; sister, Denise Rabe, Warsaw; and brother, Charles Henry (Cathy) Wilburn, Peru. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one daughter, Teresa Correll; and two sisters, Brenda DePoy and Linda Whitney. 

A time of visitation with the family will be from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at McClain Funeral Home, Denver. Burial will follow in Westlawn Cemetery, Denver, Indiana.
