Randy and Andrew,
I was so saddened to learn that Susan lost her courageous battle with cancer. But it was heartwarming to know that she was surrounded by the two of you along with your other children and Nancy and Tom & Cindy when she passed. I hope in the days ahead that you will be strengthened by cherishing the memories of all the wonderful times you shared together. Please accept my deepest sympathies for your loss.

Susan is my hero. She has set the example for being a diligant fighter who never complained. She was willing to do everything possible to fight against the cancer that was in her body for so many years. I was assigned as Susan's mentor teacher when she came to North Miami way back when and we grew to be good friends over the years as we shared as teaching colleagues and worked together to make North Miami a great school. I can't express in words what she has meant to me over the years and like all who knew her I will miss her very much. My heart goes out to her family especially Randy and Andrew but I know that she will continue to live in their hearts and minds even as the years pass by. Time will heal but the void will continue.

She was a very courageous woman who has been an inspiration to so many of us all the years she struggled with cancer. She fought it to the very end with dignity. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of this brave woman.( I guess God needed a Math teacher ) She has always watched over her family , but now it will be from Heaven. RIP Susan- your job here is done !

Dear Randy and Andrew, I can't believe it. It's just not possible. I realize she had been fighting a very long fight, but she always seemed to get through the bad times and come back fighting. When I saw her last week she looked so tired, yet her attitude never waivered. I've told her many times that she was the bravest women I have ever known. She's always been so damn strong. God love her heart. I know she's resting now, no more pain. I love you two guys. I will see you next week. May God Bless you and your family.
