My sister in Christ. She was the first to welcome me to be her sister and became a great friend. Together we set on her patio on her glider talk of life's many challenges and being woman of God. Ms Ruby has inspiration me to be a better person. She is deeply loved and will be missed a lot. Thank you Ruth for letting me help. I am blessed to be able to know your family.

Ruby worked with my Mom and Dad for many years at the Delphi High School. They all worked very hard at their jobs and didn't get paid much. I think they appreciated each other and looked after one another too. They shared their strong faith and love for God. Ruby cared about our family and my folks cared about hers too. It has been years since I had seen her, but I do run into Kay once in awhile. I am sorry for your loss, but I know she is rejoicing in heaven!!

Message from Her "adopted spiritual" daughter, Brenda

Many lives have been touched by Mom Ruby in the years I have known her. My family met and loved her; and she loved them. I will always remember how she adopted me as a spiritual "daughter", of how thoughtful she was in giving to others, and the hours I spent getting to know her and hearing about her family when I first came to Indiana. May her memories always bring a smile to the faces of those who knew and loved her.
