Ardella Ruth Witmeyer-Berryman, 96, Denver, Indiana, passed away at 7:05 a.m. Sunday, November 20, 2016, at Hickory Creek of Peru.

Born March 4, 1920, in Delphi, Indiana, she was the daughter of Henry and Sophia Weisenburger Hoover.  She was married to Ovid John Witmeyer, June 28, 1940, in Delphi, Indiana, and he preceded her in death on Dec. 4, 1979.  She was then married to Glen Berryman on January 10, 1998, and he preceded her in death on January 11, 2011.

Ardella was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Peru, Indiana.  She worked at the Ordinance Plant during WWII and farmed for many years with her husband.  She enjoyed working outside, fishing, and traveling, especially to Europe.

Ardella is survived by one son, Alfred J. Witmeyer and wife Sandy, Denver; seven grandchildren, Gerald Radel, Angie (George) Walker, Natalie (Jeff) Rager, Ryan (Becky) Radel, Shannon (Rose) Witmeyer, Mendy (Brad) Rodeffer, and Fleet (Dusti) Witmeyer; twenty-one great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandsons.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; two daughters, Linda Witmeyer and Myra Radel and her husband Gerald; four brothers, Cletus, Art, Frank, and Donald Hoover; and four sisters, Mildred McGreevy, Dorothy Forrest, Adeline Rider, and Lucille Sharp.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 23, 2016, at McClain Funeral Home, Denver, with Fr. Adam Mauman officiating.  Burial will follow in Ever-Rest Memorial Park, Logansport.
