Paul Allen Justice

Paul A. Justice, Jr., “Pete,” 48, of Peru, Indiana, passed away on July 22, 2020, at Dukes Memorial Hospital, Peru, from complications of melanoma cancer.  

Born on December 21, 1971, at St. Elizabeth Hospital, he was the son of Pamela J. Downs and Paul A. Justice, Sr. He had plans to marry his fiancé of five years, Brandi Fanning.

He attended Jefferson High School, and received his GED.  He worked for Eli Lilly for about ten years, and for the last five years, he had worked for Frank Merek, doing construction.  He resided in Peru, Indiana.

Some of his favorite hobbies included mechanics, painting, motorcycles, fishing, boating, electronics (mostly computers), and music.  He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.  

Survivors include his fiancé, Brandi Fanning, Peru; mother, Pamela Downs, Peru; children, Harley (Amber) Justice, Logansport; Amanda (Robert) Weyand, Cleveland, OH; Chelse (Jacob) Justice, Logansport; Annie Whipple (Aubree), Peru; Mackenzie Whipple, Peru; six grandchildren, Karolynn, Kaijou, Leighton, Tobias, Seimara, and Venus; sister, Audrea (Kevin) Cole, Adolphus, KY; niece, Ashley (Nick) Woestman, Adolphus, KY; nephew, Jay Cole, Adolphus, KY; aunts, Audrey Donais, Malone, NY; and Nancy (Bob) Beall, West Lafayette.  

He was preceded in death by his father, Paul A. Justice, Sr., and step-father, Mark Downs.

A celebration of life is being planned for August 9, 2020, from 1-5:00 p.m. at 3411 E Wabash Road, Peru, IN 46970, right off of Business 24.
