John Nester Oleszkewycz, 67, Peru, passed away at 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 26, 2021, at his daughter's residence in Peru.

Born June 7, 1954, i Brooklyn, New York, he was the son of Joseph Oleszkewycz and Olga “Lucy” Bojikowski Oleszkewycz. He was married to Mildred Aline McPherson Oleszkewycz who preceded him in death.

Survivors include his children, Josie E. (James) Bailey, Peru; Jennifer Oleszkewycz (Frank Thorpe), Rochester, Indiana; and Jessica Bullinger (Terry Bidlack), Oakwood, Ohio; grandchildren, Zoey, Andrew, Raelynn, Rowan, Maylia, Malchi, Myriah, Kurtis, and Konnor; and siblings; Geroge Oleszkewycz, Peru, Indiana; Jean Hernandez (Hector Hernandez), Florida; Irene (Arizona) Anna Stumpf (Danny Stumpf, Sr.), Peru; and Zush Bontrager (Sam Bontrager), Peru, Indiana.

Burial will be at noon Tuesday, January 4, 2021, at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Peru. Visitation will be from 11:00 - noon in the cemetery chapel prior to burial.

McClain Funeral Home, Denver, Indiana, has been entrusted with arrangements.
