Billy Auten Sheets

Billy Auten Sheets, Sr., 84, formerly of Anderson, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, May 1, 2021, at his son’s residence in Bunker Hill, Indiana.

Born May 9, 1936, in Anderson, indiana, he was the son of Clifton Alfred Sheets and the former Wilma Genevie Auten.  

He served in the United States Army and Air Force and farmed for many years in Madison County.  He was retired from General Motors in Anderson, where he worked for over thirty years.  

Survivors include five children, Michael (Cheryl) Sheets, Pendleton; Cathy (John) Walker, Anderson; Terry (Patzi) Sheets, Anderson; Tina Peek, Bunker Hill; and Billy (Teresa) Sheets, Bunker Hill; as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Mary Genevie Paschal.  

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 4, 2021, at Perkinsville Cemetery, Perkinsville, Indiana.
