Russell N. Crum

Russell N. "Rusty" Crum, 51, Denver, passed away Friday morning at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.

Born December 30, 1958 in Abilene, Texas he was the son of Robert R. and Mary Ann Castleman Crum. On June 26, 1998 in Miami County, Indiana he was married to Sally Ann Boosinger and she survives.

He was retired from Bryan Steam in Peru, Indiana after twenty years, was a member of the Denver Baptist Church and attended Family Fellowship Church of God in Peru. He enjoyed golfing and motorcycle drag racing and had won the Indiana NHRA amateur state championship.

Survivors besides his wife are his mother, Mary Ann Crum-O'Neal and husband Huey, West Monroe, Louisiana; one daughter Whitney A. Crum, Peru; one brother James R. Crum and wife Peggy, Williamston, Michigan; one sister Dixie A. Clem, Denver; four grandchildren, Austin, Heidi, Kedren and Karsen; one step-daughter, Courtney Wanamaker, and one step-son, Corey Thompson. His father and one daughter, Shawna Brooks, preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at McClain Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Cole officiating. Burial will follow at Ever-Rest Memorial Park, Logansport.

Visitation will be from 3-8:00 p.m. on Monday, July 12, 2010 at the funeral home.
