Pauline (Gross) Smith

Pauline Smith, 85, formerly of Miami County, Indiana, passed away at 10:05 p.m. on Wednesday, August 23, 2017, at NHC Health Care, Sumter, South Carolina.
Born August 11, 1932, in Kentucky, she was the daughter of Jessie and Ila Sparks Gross.
Survivors include her children, David (Linda) Palmer, Wamego, Kansas; Patricia (Steve) Malott, Peru; Lesa Veteto, Georgetown, IN; Mark Palmer, Attica, IN; Michelle (James) Ward, Sumter, SC; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her four brothers and a sister.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 1, 2017, at McClain Funeral Home, Denver, Indiana, with Terry Carter officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Peru, Indiana.
Visitation will be from 9-11:00 a.m. on Friday, prior to the funeral service, at McClain Funeral Home.
