Jessie Elise Davenport

Jessie Elise Davenport, 30, formerly of Rochester, Indiana, passed away at Sanford Hospital, Fargo, North Dakota, on Sunday, April 23, 2017.

Born April 27, 1986, in South Bend, Indiana, she was the daughter of Charles Phillip Davenport and the former Linda Jo Blue.

Jessie was a Christian and had attended the Presbyterian Church and First Baptist Churches in Rochester, Indiana.  She graduated from Rochester High School in 2004 before attending Indiana University, Kokomo, where she received an Associate of Arts Degree in Music and a Bachelor of Science in Infomatics.

She is survived by her father and step-mother, Phil and Sandy Davenport, Osceola; brother, Joseph Davenport and wife Jackie, Harwood, ND; and sister, Jodie Davenport, Fargo, ND; niece and nephew, Kaily and Kaiden Davenport; grandmother, Mary Pickett, Elkhart; aunts and uncles, Connie and Jim Stout, Elkhart; Kathy Goudy, Ohio; Greg and Theresa Blue, Fifield; cousins, Katie Schilling and Kelly Blue; Wendy and PJ Bernth, and Missy and Scott Craver; and close personal friends, Nathan, Rob, and Carla Lien.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bob and Marge Blue, mother, Linda Jo Davenport, and uncle, Ron Goudy.

Funeral services will be held at noon Saturday, April 29, 2017, at McClain Funeral Home, Denver, Indiana, with Rev. Dr. Mark Spencer officiating.  Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Peru, Indiana.

Visitation will be from 10-Noon Saturday, April 29, 2017, at the funeral home.

While Jessie fought a long and difficult battle with Lupus, she always managed to keep a positive attitude towards life.  She requested a Disney themed final service to celebrate her life, and the family requests that those paying their final respects remember Jessie by wearing something Disney related.
