George Michael Rasmussen

George Michael Rasmussen, 64, Macy, Indiana, passed away on Saturday morning, October 10, 2026, at his residence.

Born December 15, 1961, in Mexico, Indiana, he was the son of Benjamin Neils and Mavis Loudean (Rose) Rasmussen. On November 19, 1982, at the Bunker Hill United Methodist Church, he was married Teresa Marie Guyer.

George graduated from Maconaquah High School. He spent many years farming with his dad, but spent many of his working years as a satellite and electrical technician installing DirectTV and Dish Network systems.

Survivors include his wife, Teresa Rasmussen, Macy; son, Michael Neils Rasmussen, Macy; two grandchildren, Daniel Neils Rasmussen and Theodore Lee Rasmussen, both of Macy; one sister, Cathie (Julian “Jay”) Colaizza, Bunker Hill.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Mavis Rasmussen; siblings, Velba Loudean Krieg, Ben Neils Rasmussen, Jr., Mark Allen Rasmussen, and Penny Sue Frederick.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 4-7:00 p.m. on Thursday evening, October 15, 2026, at McClain Funeral Home, Denver.
