Forrest Jennings Kercher, 88, Macy, passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at his residence.

Born July 6, 1935, in Macy, Indiana, he was the only son of Ralph Theodore and Harriet Gertrude (Fishley) Kercher.  On April 21, 1963, in Akron, Indiana, he was married to Janet Marie Wilhelm, and she survives.

Forrest was a graduate of Macy High School.  He lived his entire life in rural Macy, Indiana, where he farmed for many years.  He was a veteran of the United States Army and was a member of the Macy Christian Church

Survivors include his wife, Janet Kercher, Macy; and one son, Jason Kercher, Macy;

He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Dennis Kercher.

Visitation will be from 1-2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 6, 2024, at McClain Funeral Home, Denver, Indiana.  Following the time of visitation, a procession will leave for Plainview Cemetery, Macy, Indiana, for a Committal Service and Military Rites provided by the Miami County Military Rites Unit.
