Beatrice Isabell Moulton

Beatrice Isabell Moulton, 96, formerly of Denver, Indiana passed away quietly at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, March, 7, 2012 at the home of her daughter in Pomona, California.

Born July 1, 1915 in Fulton, Indiana she was the daughter of the late Charles and Flossie Enyart Bailey. In 1935, she married her sweetheart, John Moulton who passed away in 2003.

Isabell lived most of her life in Indiana, graduating from Fulton High School and then attending Beauty College in Indianapolis. After college she was married and moved to Denver, Indiana where she opened her beauty shop.

During World War II, the family moved to Fort Wayne, Indiana and then later to Indianapolis in 1950, eventually settling in Deedsville, Indiana in 1952, where Isabell quickly set up her beauty shop again.

She continued hairdressing until her husband retired from work and they moved again to Denver, Indiana where they resided until John's passing in 2003. At that time, she moved to California to stay with her daughter, Beatrice Isabell Ross. She loved to see the mountains, flowers, and birds of her new California home.

She was a kind and loving mother and a doting grandmother. Isabell grew up in Christian faith and raised her family accordingly, teaching her children and then their children about Jesus. She was a member of the Denver Baptist Church.

Her union with John built a family of four children; Mona Ross and husband Gene, Pomona, California; David Moulton and wife Margarie, Chino, California; Judith Padgett and husband Leroy, Greentown, Indiana; Joseph Moulton and wife Diana, Benton Harbor, Michigan. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and twenty-five great grandchildren. Her long life gave her many friendships and along with her family, they all will miss her greatly.

A Celebration of Life for Isabell will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 16, 2012 at McClain Funeral Home, Denver with Pastor Scott Butler officiating. Burial will follow in Denver's Westlawn Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday morning before the funeral from 10-11:00 a.m.
