Todd Allen Burns

Todd Allen Burns, 48, Bunker Hill, passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2019, in Miami County.  

Born July 8, 1971, in Rochester, Indiana, he was the son of Richard James Burns and Jane Ann Berry Burns.  On September 24, 1994, in Indianapolis, Indiana, he was married to Tina Marie Leavell. 

Todd graduated from Caston High in 1990.  He attended Vincennes University before transferring to Mid-America College of Mortuary Science in Jeffersonville, Indiana.  He worked as a funeral director in Miami County for over twenty years.  He was a member of the Bunker Hill Free Will Baptist Church.  

Todd was active for many years in 4-H in both Fulton and Miami Counties.  He enjoyed working with livestock, especially sheep.  He shared his love for 4-H with his two sons and wife.  

Survivors include his wife, Tina M. Burns, Bunker Hill; two sons, Trent Allen Burns, Bunker Hill; and Tyler James Burns, Bunker Hill and his fiancé, Jalynn Stull, Walton; parents, Richard and Jane Burns, Rochester; father and mother-in-law, Joe and Alice Leavell, Noblesville; sisters and brothers-in-law, Darla Leavell, Indianapolis; Dennis (Pam) Leavell, Westfield, and Todd (Robynn) Leavell, Indianapolis; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 9, 2019, at McClain Funeral Home with Pastor Kenny Cole officiating.  

Visitation will be from 2-7:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
