Oma Sanders Obituary

Oma Jean Goodman Sanders, 89, Peru, passed asway at 3:50 a.m. on Saturday, July 20, 2019, at Miller’s Merry Manor, Peru.

Born October 10, 1929, Missouri, she was the daughter of Alex T. and Ruth Eaton Goodman. On January 1, 1947, she was married to Ellis M. Sanders, and he preceded her in death.

Oma retired from Square D Company in Peru.

Survivors include one son, Donald Ray Sanders, The Netherlands; daughter, Linda Ruth (Saryle) Prather, Denver; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Oma was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, William David Sanders; daughter-in-law, Nonnie Sanders; and six siblings, William R. Goodman, Nona L. Dove, Robert T. Goodman, George Goodman, Herman E. Goodman, and William Russell Goodman.

Funeral services will be private. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Peru.
