Donna Jean Hart

Donna Jean Hart, 61, Peru, passed away at 9:21 a.m. on Thursday, January 25, 2018, at St. Vincent Hospital, Kokomo.

She was born on January 24, 1957, in Des Moines, Iowa, and her parents were the former Shirley McKeehan and John Sailer.

She had been a school bus driver and tow truck driver and loved to play Bingo.

She is survived by her mom, Shirley Sailer, Indianola, Iowa, two daughters, Bernadette (Clifford) Lane, Peru, IN; and Valerie (Steve) Cooper, Des Moines, Iowa; six grandchildren, Alisha Mellen, Peru; Shelby Mellen, Kokomo; Merak Mitchell, Bradenton, Florida; Kami Kelly, Thayer, Iowa; Kiera Kelly, Omaha, Nebraska; and Kiren Kelly, Des Moines, Iowa; five great-grandchildren, Daisy Mellen, Sophia Mellen, Mia Kelly, Dawson Kelly, and A.J. Kelly; three brothers, Jim (Susan) Anderson, Denver, Colorado; David (Cindy) Anderson, North Platte, Nebraska; and Kenneth Sailer, Denver, Colorado.

She was preceded in death by her father and one son, Wayne Paulsen, Jr.

A gathering of family and friends will be from 4-6:00 p.m. on Monday, January 29, 2018, at McClain Funeral Home, Denver.
