I remember Don growing up as me and my Uncle Claude had teams of plow horses and would talk about them all the time. I grew up out in the country near Denver and remember him. I want to send my deepest sympathy to the Heckathorn family and all of his friends and relatives. RIP Don. You will be missed

As a young man, Don was our neighbor, I road many a mile with him on a Harley Davidson, he nicknamed me "Slick". I have been riding my own Harley Davidson every since. I loved him and his Dad who taught me how to work, we had a horseshoe court in the neighborhood and played many a came together, Don loved my Dad, they did many things to help each other. A year ago, Don came to our 50th wedding anniversary, I remember him telling some people " You know, I helped raise that Guy". Thank you, Don
