In August 1976, I was a 6th grade student at Washington Township Elementary on Old Kokomo Pike, south of Logansport. The school was part of Southeastern School District. Vicki was my music teacher. The small music room with an old upright piano was located on the northeast corner of the barrel-roofed gymnasium. Despite the 40 years that have passed since then, I still recall Vicki’s passion and excellence for music then which spawned my interest in double bass and bass guitar. She spearheaded the school’s 1976 Christmas program, which was the Nutcracker Suite where her robust energy was infectious. In the late 1970's, Thompson Elementary opened so Vicki and students at Washington Township shifted to Thompson, which led to Washington Township being demolished. In the late 1990's during a visit to Walton, I bumped into Vicki when students were outside behind the school for field day. We had a nice chat, and it was evident that Vicki’s passion for music and teaching was as fervent as ever. To Vicki’s family and friends, I send my condolences. Vicki left a nice legacy -- may you forever cherish memories of her. Peace and wellness to all.

Angel In Season
You now have your own private angel
To watch over you. When the warmth of the sun
Falls onto your skin, you will feel her warmth.
The gentle breeze of spring will bring
Fond memories of her.
When the flowers sprout, that is she,
Telling you there is new life.
Sometimes you see a rainbow and know
She is saying she is with you.
She is never far away when you see
A leaf drop from a mighty tree.
The cold blast of winter is there
To tell you to wake up and live a full life.
When you need her you can always look
To the sky and see a special cloud
To let you know you are still in her thoughts.
She is at peace and though you don’t think you
Will ever be, she has ways of telling you that she is ok
And you will be too!

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. My prayers are with the family and friends. She was a great lady. She was my music teacher and inspired me and is the reason I love music the way i do. I'll never forget my 6th grade year when she chose me as one of the kids that got to go and participate in circle the state with song competition. Such great memories! Once again so sorry for your loss..

Deepest sympathy to the Little family from the Maino family. It was such an honor to meet your Mother Zach. I could just see and feel how loved she was and how much she loved her family. May peace be hers in a place with no pain.
