Nancy Jane Gordon, 78, Twelve Mile, passed away at 1:18 p.m. on Wednesday, November 5, 2014, at Waterford Place Health Campus, Kokomo, Indiana, where she surrounded her loving husband and family.

Born February 8, 1936, in Mooresville, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Charles Raymond and Hazel Irene McCoy Phillips.  On December 21, 1980, in Mooresville, Indiana, she was married to Montgomery Cole “Red” Gordon, and he survives.

For thirty-three years Red and Nancy made their home in the Twelve Mile Community and attended the Corinth Brethren Church where she was an active member of the Women’s Missionary Service.  Nancy enjoyed gardening and expressed her artistic side through sewing, hand-quilting, and beautiful paintings.

In addition to her husband, she leaves six children to cherish her memory, Cindy Knowland and husband Kelly, Crestview Florida; Pam Sinnamon and husband Scott, Kokomo; Terri Daily and husband Rick, Kokomo; Richard W. Gray, Deer Creek, Indiana; Karen LaTourette and husband J.C., Logansport; and Robert Gordon and wife Brenda, Lafayette; sixteen grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren; four siblings, Jerry W. Phillips and wife Joyce, Clayton; Beverly Gregory, Avon; Donna Berling and husband Bob, Mooresville; and Glen Phillips and wife, Karen, Brownsburg.

She was preceded in death by four siblings, Eugene Phillips, Karen Koons, Dale Phillips, and Russell Dean Phillips, a son-in-law, Gary Napier, and grandson, Ryan Napier.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at Corinth Brethren Church with Pastor Ben Pippen officiating.  Burial will follow in Corinth Cemetery.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 3-8:00 p.m. at McClain Funeral Home, Denver.
