Marcia L. See Kahler, 71, was born September 5, 1944 in Fulton County, Indiana, the daughter of Errett 'Jim' and Laura L. Berger See.  She became an angel on Saturday, April 9, 2016 in Macy, Indiana.

Marcia was born as the 7th out of 8 children. She grew up on the family farm in Macy, IN, helping with the farm and household chores. She graduated from North Miami High School in 1962 as part of their first graduating class.

Marcia met her husband Thomas in 1962 and they married a few years later. In 1966 they had a son, Dustin, who was called to heaven in 1967 at only 7 months of age. After that time Marcia focused on her work career as a dental assistant and homemaker.

In 1978 they had their daughter Laura, then two sons, Clinton in 1979 and Marshall in 1980.  Marcia enjoyed being a homemaker. She sacrificed and was a loving mother putting her children’s needs before her own.  She has a 3 year old granddaughter, Allison, whom she enjoyed immensely.

Her marriage ended in 1990 after which she moved back to her family home in Macy.  She then worked at the Denver Tavern for about 7 years.  

Marcia is survived by an older brother; by one daughter, Laura I. Kahler, of Wilsonville, OR; by two sons Clinton T. Kahler, of Phoenix, AZ, and Marshall L. Kahler, with wife Misti of Lafayette, IN; and by a granddaughter Allison L. Kahler of Lafayette, IN.  

A time of visitation with the family will be Wednesday, May 11th, 7:00 PM at McClain Funeral Home, Denver. Marcia’s final resting place will be located at Ebenezer Cemetery, Macy.  In lieu of sending flowers the family requests a donation be made to the Helping Hands organization of Miami County.
