Harriet A. Weaver, 90, Peru, passed away at 5:23 p.m. on Sunday, May 10, 2015 at Blair Ridge Health Campus, Peru surrounded by her family.

Born August 14, 1924, in Miami County, Indiana, she was the daughter of Ernest W. and Thelma Miller Keyes .  On January 26, 1947, at the Mexico Church of the Brethren, she was united in marriage to Ronald G. Weaver, and he preceded in death on October 30, 2003. 

She was an active member of the Mexico Church of the Brethren where she served as church organist and pianist for many years.  She was also active in her community serving Dukes Hospital as a Pink Lady, the Women’s Fellowship at her church, and the Miami County Extension Homemakers.  She graduated from International Business College and had worked at GE in Fort Wayne.

Survivors include her three children, Linda Hebb and husband Lee, Pendleton, South Carolina; Terry Weaver and wife Brenda, Peru; and Louanne Johnloz and husband Gary, Huntington, Indiana; five grandchildren, Monica Senk, Carla Weaver, Myles Weaver, Adam Fox, and Shelbi Warren; and fourteen great-grandchildren; and one sister, Miriam Sites, Roann.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one grandson, Dean Weaver.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 14, 2015, at the Mexico Church of the Brethren, Mexico, Indiana, with Pastor Randal Dick officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Mexico.

Visitation will be from 4-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the church and one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
