Dennis C. Wilson, 66, Perrysburg, passed away at 7:03 a.m. on Tuesday, August 9, 2016, at Dukes Memorial Hospital, Peru.

Born October 28, 1949, in Peru, Indiana, he was the son of the late William E. and Helen Maxine Lewis Wilson.  On October 28, 1982, in Springfield, Tennessee, he was married to the former Colleen Kay Knauff, and she survives. 

He was a member of the former Perrysburg Baptist Church, Manitou Moose of Rochester, and was retired from Square D Corporation.

Surviving with his wife are five children, Cheryl Lynn Cox, Chattanooga, TN; Christie Sue Wilson, Sebring, FL; Chasity Marie Reber and husband James, Dayton, TN; Melissa Kay Sailors and husband D.J., Denver; Melanie Danae Sailors, Peru; and William Zachary Wilson and wife Cassandra, Macy; twenty-two grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren; three siblings, Mick Wilson and wife Judy, Rochester; Billi Hoover and husband Bill, Peru; and Larry Wilson, Mexico; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill Knauff and wife Marty, Rochester; and Linda and Tom Hoover, rural Denver.

He was preceded in death by one son, Dolen Craig Wilson.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, August 12, 2016, at McClain Funeral Home, Denver, Indiana, with Pastor Rod Correll and Pastor Tim Earle officiating.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Mexico. 

Visitation will be from 4-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 11, 2016, at the funeral home.
