Christopher Michael McAninch, formerly Zane Travis Greer, 38, Ft. Wayne, and formerly of Miami and Cass Counties, passed away May 4, 2016, in Ft. Wayne.

Born September 19, 1977, in Peru, Indiana, he was the son of Richard Lee and Diana Kay Chaplin Greer.

He worked at various retail locations around Logansport.  He enjoyed traveling, cats, visiting with his friends and family, gardening, flowers and listening to music, especially Reba McEntire.  He was a member of the Eagles Lodge, Peru.

He is survived by his mother, Diana Kay Greer, Peru; brother, Chester Lee Greer, Peru; sisters, Deborah Dorsam and Denise Richardson, both of Peru; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father and one nephew.

A time of visitation with the family will be from 5-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 12, 2016, at McClain Funeral Home, Denver.  Private burial will be in Ever-Rest Memorial Park.
