Christina K. Townsend, 56, Logansport, passed away at 1:28 a.m. on Tuesday, October 21, 2014, at IU Arnett Hospital, Lafayette. 

Born April 2, 1958 in Logansport, Indiana, she was the daughter of Roger C. and Rosemary L. Rhodes Swanson.

Survivors include her mother, Rosemary L. Swanson, Logansport; son, Austin Townsend, Logansport; grandson, Nicholas Townsend, Hamlet; sister, Teresa Hoagland and her husband Bob, Florida; brother, Jeff Swanson and his wife Becky, Twelve Mile; two nephews, Rodney Swanson, Denver; and Dave Swanson, Macy; and one niece, Sammi Jo Swanson, Twelve Mile.

She was preceded in death by her father and one son, Allen Matthew Townsend.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 26, 2014 at McClain Funeral Home, Denver with Pastor Adam Speicher officiating. 

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service on Sunday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to assist with final expenses.
