Allen Matthew Townsend, 28, Logansport, passed away at 5:37 p.m. on July 15, 2014 at Parkview Regional Hospital, Ft. Wayne from injuries sustained in an accident on July 4, 2014.

Born on February 14, 1986 in Logansport, he was the son of Robert J. and Christina Swanson Townsend.

Allen is survived by his parents, Robert Townsend, Logansport, and Christina Townsend, Logansport; one brother, Austin Townsend, Logansport; grandmother, Rosemary Swanson, Logansport; one nephew, Nicholas Townsend, Hamlet; his aunts and uncles, Jeff and Wanda Moss, Twelve Mile; Randy and Leslie Townsend, Twelve Mile; Teresa and Bob Hoagland, Florida, and Jeff and Becky Swanson, Twelve Mile; as well as several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Roger Swanson, grandparents, George and Gertrude Townsend, and one uncle, Dennis Townsend.

Visitation will be from 1-7:00 p.m. Sunday, July 20, 2014 at McClain Funeral Home, Denver.

Private family services with burial will be Monday, July 21, 2014 at Mount Carmel Cemetery, Twelve Mile.
